PORTRAYAL (IN NORWEGIAN)

One can hardly claim that the career of delicate, intense Christopher Walken has been as remarkable as many predicted after an exceptional start in the 70s, culminated with his fantastic (and Oscar winning) performance in Michael Ciminos The Deer Hunter. Perhaps has his pursuit of leading man status given him a bit too many mediocre roles, while he could have profitted more from seeking more character roles. Still, Christopher Walken has never been in danger of losing his status as one the most serious, humorous and potent actors in the business. He's at his best giving life to mentally unstable, sociopaths to which he often contribute a small portion implicit humour as well as his trademark dance sequence.
