Brad Pitt
FILMOGRAPHY (ONLY REVIEWED ENTRIES)
Brad Pitt burst onto the scene with an impressive role opposite Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis in Ridley Scott's Thelma and Louise (1991). Until then, Pitt had been treading water in lesser roles for nearly a decade. His subsequent rise to stardom was inevitable, as he displayed a keen sense in choosing characters and made the most of his all-American, pretty-boy persona. Often basing his performances more on coolness than depth, Pitt may have exhibited a limited dramatic range at times, but he has continually profited immensely from and taken advantage of his massive popularity. He has also demonstrated longevity and an ability to seek out new challenges, which has made him a respected figure in the business. In 2020, he gave arguably the best performance of his career in Quentin Tarantino's masterful Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
