Sverre Anker Ousdal

Norwegian veteran performer of stage, screen, and television who during his more than 40-year career has exhibited impressive diversity and remarkable endurance. Known for his distinct voice, Ousdal benefits from authortative line delivery, which he combines with a fine blend of warmth and rigour. His perhaps most memorable performance came in 1996 when he portrayed the infamous Norwegian WWII traitor Vidkun Quisling in Jan Troell's Hamsun. Ousdal is the father of actor Mads Ousdal.
