BIO

Leading man and box-office topper in comedies from the 1980s and 1990s whose physical, absurdist comedy was honed during his time on Saturday Night Live in the 1970s. He broke through through his collaboration with Carl Reiner, in films such as The Jerk (1979), Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid (1982), and The Man with Two Brains (1983). Martin arguably reached a career high in the early 1990s with the mega-success Father of the Bride.
