Tall, gangly and curly-haired actor who became an unlikely star in the 60s and 70s playing numerous roles in which he opposed to political unequality. Of Jewish descent, Gould was ruggedly handsome young man, but failed to find new ground in the 80s and his career deteriorated. However, it was again boosted with being cast regularly on the already legendary TV-show Friends, in which he played Jack Geller, the father of David Schwimmer and Courteney Cox's characters, but still it must be said that for an actor of his talent, he's not been able to get as many good roles as he should have throughout his career. Gould was once married to Barbara Streisand, and has a son, Jason Gould, by her.
