Review
As
always, when a television show is adapted into a feature film, it
suffers for it. The format needs to be changed (or so it seems), and what usually must pay is the quality of the
story. Stewie
Griffin – The Untold Story is far from as tight and effective as the
remarkable TV series it is based on, but it does feature the same creative
humour and wonderful characters. Seth MacFarlane is a superb voice actor, and the film makes good use of his Stewie
Griffin, as
we follow his antics – past, present and future. The film is thoroughly
enjoyable, but cannot avoid coming off as somewhat disjointed and
episodic. And that's just fine; we will always prefer the series anyway.
