Review

Whoopi Goldberg is the only slightly redeeming quality in this moronic sports comedy. Faux basketball action and an abundance of stereotypes ensue, such as the Russian Ivan (a too obvious nod to Dolph Lundgren's character in Rocky IV). Ex-Dracula Frank Langella's character is no better. This is a boring, unfunny comedy that can easily be replaced with three episodes of any generic sitcom.
