Review

A completely unambitious straight-to-video film that is all about recycling old ideas, but that at least achieves some sort of warmth and features a handful of fair scenes. We can probably all agree that the foundation is silly to begin with, and the film embraces its stereotypes like only bad American movies can. John Amos brings a little dignity to his role, and Kyla Pratt is cute, if little else.
