Review

A super-beefed, super-wooden Arnold Schwarzenegger runs around – or rather drags his oversized body sluggishly around – to save his daughter (Alyssa Milano) who has been kidnapped by some token baddies from the fictional country of Val Verde. This symptomatic 1980s action yarn is so loudmouthed and unsubtle that even its attempts at tongue-in-cheek become obnoxious and its few attempts at being clever and sophisticated feel forced and fall short. But hey, if you're in the mood for some dumb and noisy machismo... choose something else.
