Review
A fairly standard spin on the haunted
house subgenre, but for one thing: the story is told through the
perspective of the owner’s dog. The film is a remarkable technical
achievement by first-time writer/director Ben Leonberg, especially
considering the very limited budget, though his themes and horror
tropes leave much more to be desired. The dog, played with bravura
by the director’s own Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, is a true
heartbreaker.
