Review

An original plot and a miscast Jim Carrey is the basis for this message comedy by Ben Stiller. There's thinly veiled media criticism intertwined with dark comedy, which despite Carrey's presence falls flat and gives the film a sluggish, wearisome quality. A different approach and lead actor might have made this one interesting.
